A Case Report
Abstract
This report details a case history and outpatient physical therapy management of a 4-year-old boy diagnosed with lower extremity hypertonia secondary to static encephalopathy of unknown etiology. Serial application of neutral-position inhibitory casts is detailed as is definitive orthotic management. A theoretical rationale for the management plan is also presented.
